Landscape, Cityscape and Seascape
Few of us have at some time wondered if a photographer we admire has just got that special something we’ll never have – something that can’t be taught. Landscape photography is perhaps the clearest illustration of this as we can all shoot the same subject and compare the results – often unfavourably!
The truth is we can all achieve better results though an understanding of how a landscape will translate into an image and a grasp of the techniques that if applied ensure a quality result. It’s not magic, it’s a grasp of the aesthetic allied to cast iron technique. This course covers both in detail and gives you feedback from an expert in the subject so you know just how well you are doing. In the course, you will learn how to:
Distil the elements that are crucial to the image
Organise those elements with an underlying design that feels right
Translate 3D into 2D successfully – learn to see as the camera does
Develop a personal style
Plus five technique essentials – five essential skills for every landscape photographer
Suitable for film and digital camera users of all levels.
